5. annual student conference of Humboldt reloaded

"Knowledge is not enough"

"Knowledge is not enough - we must apply. Willing is not enough - we must do." (Bruce Lee)

This was the motto for the fifth Annual Student Conference, held on Tuesday, 25 October 2016 at Hohenheim Palace to conclude the fifth and launch the sixth year of the Humboldt reloaded project.

The conference was open to all students and staff of the University, as well as everybody interested in the project. Participating students presented some 170 student research projects from disciplines across all three Hohenheim faculties by means of poster sessions and presentations.

As both Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Bruce Lee have pointed out, knowledge alone is not enough. The two celebrities were picked as role models this year, representing the spark that drives research-oriented learning. It takes curiosity, courage and persistence to achieve something great.

"Knowing is not enough, we must also apply; willing is not enough, we must also do." (J.W. v. Goethe)
